FASH-ON SMASH: Sneakgeekz.com Unwraps Black/Cement AJ IV

9 05 2008

More info after the commute.

Nice, nice, nice!!! One half of the next release in the AJ Countdown series. Packaged along with black/red AJ XIX these are scheduled for a release on 7/19. The AJ Retro 4 was the first Jordan shoe to be retroed and is easily one of the most sought after. These seem to be almost exactly the same as those released in 1999 except for one detail. If you can remember the 1999 Retro 4 featured the Nike Air logo on its rear. Due to business decisions current AJ retros feature the Jumpman logo instead of the classic Nike Air logo of the past. The AJ IV from the Countdown package follow this same trend to the dismay of some sneaker fanatics. Overall a good drop, sure to be sold out with the quickness so be ready to stakeout your local kick spot. You wont see me there. I’ll be busy catching up on some sleep.

On the HI-YA!! Karate Kick Scale the AJ IV Countdown Edition gets………..

A Jim Kelly plus a Dragonfly Jones 4.5 out of 5

(They got penalized .5 by being another instance of Brand Jordan pimping the illest signature shoe lines of all time. Money hungry bastids!)

Props to the folks at SneakGeekz. He gone…
